How to Sell on MarketHub

Posting an item on MarketHub is free and takes about two minutes. Here is exactly how to list your product, add photos that sell, and start getting buyers messaging you directly.

Before You Post: Set Up Your Profile

  • Create a free account with email, Google, or Facebook and confirm your country — your listings are shown to buyers in your local market.
  • Add your full name, a contact number or WhatsApp, and your location under Settings. MarketHub asks for a complete profile before your first post so buyers can actually reach you.
  • A complete profile — and the blue verified checkmark, earned after a quick manual review — builds trust and gets you more replies.

Post an Item, Step by Step

  • Tap "Sell Item" in the bottom bar on mobile, or "Post Ad" in the top navigation on desktop.
  • Choose the Category and Subcategory that fit your item — the form then shows the right detail fields for it (battery health and IMEI for phones, drivetrain and service history for cars, and so on).
  • Write a clear Title — brand, model, and the key detail — and an honest Description covering condition, what is included, and any flaws.
  • Set your Price in your local currency and pick the Condition: New, Used, or Refurbished.
  • Choose your Location (Province, then City) so nearby buyers find you first.
  • Add your photos, review everything, and tap Post. Your listing goes live in your country feed right away.

Photos That Sell

  • Upload several real photos from different angles in good daylight — listings with clear photos get far more messages.
  • Every photo is automatically watermarked with your @username, so your images stay yours even when they are shared around.
  • Always use photos of the actual item, never stock images — misleading photos can get a listing removed by moderation.
  • Your first photo is the cover image, so make it the cleanest, best-lit shot.

After You Post: Dealing With Buyers

  • MarketHub is a contact-the-seller marketplace — there is no checkout. Interested buyers message you directly through in-app Messages.
  • Reply quickly and keep the conversation on MarketHub until you have agreed terms — it is safer and keeps a record.
  • Meet in a busy, public place and let the buyer inspect the item before any payment. Never accept payment in advance, not even for delivery.
  • When an item is gone, mark it "Sold" from My Listings — the page stays reachable for buyers who saved it but drops out of search.

Get Seen by More Buyers

  • Buyers can Follow your store — they get a notification the moment you post something new, so your repeat customers see fresh stock first.
  • Boost a listing to the homepage hero for extra visibility (an admin confirms the payment before it goes live).
  • Edit or remove any listing anytime from Dashboard, then My Listings.
  • Post regularly and keep prices fair — active, well-priced sellers build a following the fastest.
